Meditating in a garden setting, raising awareness about skin cancer, lumpy rugs, chocolate custard, public radio stations, and leopards have observances associated with them: National Public Radio Day National Chocolate Custard Day Melanoma Monday Lumpy Rug Day International Leopard Day Garden Meditation Day I'm assuming that Lumpy Rug Day is about having an old rug that may not lay flat as it's supposed to, but is kept because it seems to be a part of your home. I'm fortunate to have a couple good public radio stations (WNYC and WHYY) that (normally) provide good signals to my area. Africa's second biggest cat, the leopard, is celebrated today.
